Butterfly House
Sarett’s Butterfly House is a netted facility located across the driveway from our Nature Center building. Inside the Butterfly House, there is a packed gravel pathway for guests to move around and enjoy the many different species of butterflies. It also includes a pond with fish, beautiful flowers, and a window chamber where guests can view chrysalises and watch them emerge into butterflies!
The weather outside is the same inside the Butterfly House. The butterflies are most active on sunny, warm days.
We operate by walk-ins only. Please visit the front desk of the Nature Center building to purchase your tickets during regular hours, and a naturalist or volunteer will accompany you into the Butterfly House.
The Butterfly House season runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day every year (or until the butterflies are no longer flying).
